Cinnamon clobbered Ray as he walked into the house. He smiled. He loved the smell of his wife’s Cinnamon Caramel rolls.

Door shut, locks snick snicked into place securing the house. He thumbed the holster latch, removed the glock and deposited keys and gun onto the side table.

He strolled into the kitchen, wrapped his arms around Leta, who was kneading more dough, and kissed her cheek.

“Babe, those smell fantastic. Any chance I get one this time?”

She turned, grabbed his face with floury hands and kissed his mouth.

“Make a pot of coffee and I’ll think about it.”

Cinnamon is the word this week at Velvet Verbosity. I can’t think of Cinnamon without thinking of my mom’s Peanut butter Caramel Cinnamon rolls and they MUST be had with a cup of black coffee. Of course, Sarah Vaughan’s “Black Coffee” is the perfect accompaniment to a blog post about cinnamon rolls.

This is a blog hop so click the button below, hop over to the submissions and read some other posts. Go show them some love.

My mom’s fabulous, and famous cinnamon rolls. She bakes several pans to sell every year at the silent dessert auction Blossom’s school has for a fundraiser. They have been known to sell for $50! O_O

Good question! The word limit forced me to cut the info about her locally famous cinnamon rolls she always makes and gives away.
