An Epic Battle

September hosts an epic annual battle; Summer, Autumn and Winter launch their best soldiers, Summer presses down with heat, Autumn with a volley of color and Winter throwing daggers of ice and snow.

Trifecta’s weekend Trifextra challenge put forth the prompt to put forth 33 words about a famous trio. This week we’ve been witness to the above battle and so far, it’s a tie.

Wyoming does battle in September and October for the right for a particular season. Last week we had all three. 80’s the first of the week, cool 50’s mid-week and by the end of the week we had four inches of snow on the ground. Normal around here.

This is such a unique trio – I like it! Here in the desert, Spring fires off pollen rather than icy daggers in winter 🙂

  6. Nice! The color is just starting here as autumn and summer battle for the last weeks. Winter will show up soon enough.

  7. And every year, I vote for summer to win. And every year, I’m disappointed. 🙂 Thanks for linking up with this original take on the prompt. Don’t forget to vote.
